Pacifiers size 2: comfort and support for growing babies
Designed for babies aged 6-18 months
As your little one grows, so do their needs. Pacifiers size 2 are specifically developed for babies between 6-18 months, offering a safe and supportive option that aligns with their natural oral development. At BIBS, we ensure every pacifier is thoughtfully crafted to support both baby and parent through every stage.
What makes size 2 different from size 1?
While newborn pacifiers are designed with a smaller, softer nipple, pacifiers 6-18 months feature a slightly larger and more resilient shape. This helps meet the increased sucking strength and oral needs of babies during this important developmental window.
Size 2 pacifiers are ideal for soothing teething discomfort, supporting sleep routines, and maintaining a sense of security as your baby starts exploring the world more actively.
Multiple nipple shapes for individual needs
Just like in size 1, our pacifiers size 2 are available in three nipple shapes:
- Round nipple - closest to the breast and ideal for breastfed babies
- Symmetrical nipple - encourages a natural tongue placement
- Anatomical nipple - supports the shape of the palate and jaw
Every baby is different, and the right nipple shape can make a big difference in comfort and acceptance.
Safe, sustainable materials
All our pacifiers are free from BPA, PVC, and phthalates. You can choose between two premium materials:
- Natural rubber latex – soft and elastic with a natural feel
- Silicone – highly durable and heat resistant, perfect for repeated sterilization
No matter your choice, BIBS ensures that every pacifier is made with care, quality, and safety in mind.
Colors and collections that celebrate your style
We believe that everyday baby essentials can be both functional and beautiful. Our colour collection includes timeless neutrals, earthy tones, and seasonal shades to complement every baby's wardrobe.
For a special touch, explore the BIBS x Liberty prints, where heritage floral patterns meet modern design.
Make daily life easier with smart accessories
Our pacifier accessories are designed to keep your baby's favorite soother clean, close, and ready to use:
- Pacifier clips to prevent dropping and loss
- Pacifier cases for safe storage
- Try-it kits for testing nipple types
Designed with busy parents in mind, these add-ons bring both peace of mind and a touch of style to your everyday routine.
FAQs about pacifiers size 2
When should I switch to size 2?
We recommend switching to size 2 around the 6-month mark, or as soon as your baby shows signs of teething or starts rejecting the smaller nipple size.
Can I use pacifiers size 2 before 6 months?
Pacifiers size 2 are specifically designed for babies aged 6-18 months. Using them earlier could be uncomfortable or unsuitable for oral development. Stick with size 1 for newborns and younger babies.
How often should I replace a size 2 pacifier?
We suggest replacing any pacifier every 4-6 weeks, or immediately if it shows signs of wear, tear, or damage.
