How to clean BIBS Pacifier Clip

clean and ready for everyday use, follow these simple steps

Clean
● Spot-clean with warm water and mild soap.
● Wipe off the wood and metal clip.
● Pat with a towel.
● Air dry with the metal clip open.

● Machine washable at 30° C

Before First Use
Clean well before first use by using one of the following cleaning methods.


Step 1. Clean (Choose One Method)

Dishwasher (top-rack)

  • Place in the top-rack of a dishwasher (colors may lightly fade over time, this does
    not affect product integrity)
  • Maximum temperature: 60° C / 140° F
    Hand-wash
  • Clean with warm water and mild soap - avoid abrasive cleaning agents.
  • Rinse thoroughly and air dry.

 

Step 2. Sterilize (Optional - Choose One Method)

Electronic Steam Sterilizer

  • Clean with warm water and mild soap.
  • Place in the sterilizer ensuring it doesn’t touch heating elements or sharp edges.
  • Follow the manufacturer's instructions.
  • Maximum temperature: 100° C / 212° F

 

Scalding

  • Place in a clean bowl.
  • Pour freshly boiled water until fully submerged, let sit for 5 minutes.
  • Remove carefully and place on a clean towel to air dry.
  • Maximum temperature: 100° C / 212° F


Frequency & Care

  • Clean as needed.
  • Always clean before sterilizing.
  • Inspect after cleaning. Discard at the first sign of damage, deformation, or wear.
  • Allow the product to cool completely before use.
  • Sterilization recommendations may vary by age and region. Follow local guidelines or consult your healthcare professional for best advice.
  • Always follow the product’s maximum heat tolerance. Excessive heat may damage it.
