2. GENERAL INFORMATION
2.1. These terms and conditions apply to all purchases made on the Website. By placing an order, you accept these terms and conditions. We therefore recommend that you read them carefully before making a purchase.
2.2. We reserve the right to update these terms and conditions on an ongoing basis, including to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations, and to make sure they reflect our current business model. Therefore, we also recommend that you revisit them each time you make a purchase on the Website. The terms and conditions that apply to your purchase on the Website are those you accept at the time of purchase.

3. PRICES
3.1. Prices on the Website are inclusive of tax, VAT, and levies, and exclusive of delivery costs. Delivery costs vary depending on the selected destination and delivery method, and will be shown at checkout. Please note that prices on the Website may differ from the prices of BIBS products sold in physical retail stores by our retailers. We also reserve the right to change prices on the Website without prior notice or consent.
3.2. Fees and charges for customers outside the EU When purchasing goods for delivery outside the EU, you are responsible for paying any customs duties, import taxes, VAT, and any other fees or charges imposed in connection with importing the goods into the destination country. These charges are not included in the total price displayed on the Website, including at checkout. Please contact your local customs office for further information on applicable regulations and rates.
4. DISCOUNTS AND PROMOTIONS
4.1. We may occasionally offer discount codes, sale prices, and other promotional offers. These offers are valid during the period specified in connection with them (see section 5.5), and the discount value may vary depending on the campaign we are running. Sale prices and discount codes cannot be combined with other discounts, unless expressly stated otherwise. Discounts are distributed proportionally across all eligible items in the order. Certain products may be excluded from promotions or discount codes, and if so this will be clearly stated where relevant. Discount codes are for single use only and can only be used once per customer. If you return your order (in whole or in part), the discount code will still be considered as used and cannot be reissued or reused. Any discount codes and gift cards can be used at checkout by entering them in the “Discount code or gift card” field.
4.2. Discount code upon acceptance of newsletters and tailored marketing We offer a discount code that you can use for your first purchase on the Website if you agree to receive newsletters and tailored marketing from BIBS. When you sign up for our newsletter, you will receive a discount code by email, which you can use at checkout by entering the code in the “Discount code or gift card” field. The discount is exclusively granted to new subscribers and must be used within 7 days after receipt. You can unsubscribe from our newsletter at any time by contacting our customer service at care@bibsworld.com or via this link: Unsubscribe.
4.3. Threshold-based campaigns - Qualification for a gift If your order qualifies for a gift by exceeding a set minimum threshold, eligibility is based on the final paid order value after deduction of all discounts, promotions and applied codes. If the final paid order value falls below the required threshold, for example due to the use of a discount code, eligibility for the gift is forfeited. In such cases, the gift will automatically be removed from your cart before the order is completed. If your order qualifies for a gift but the gift is not automatically added to your cart at checkout (e.g. because the gift requires active selection such as choosing a variant or color), the gift will not be considered part of the concluded agreement and will not be included in the order. Please note that we reserve the right not to send a gift that is not included in the original order.
5. ORDERING
5.1. Order process To place an order, add the desired items to your cart by clicking “Add to cart”. You have the option to edit or remove items from your cart until you proceed to payment. You make a binding offer to purchase the desired items in your cart by clicking “Proceed to payment”, filling in your contact details, choosing delivery and payment method, and clicking “Pay now”. You will then automatically receive an email (hereinafter “order confirmation”) confirming that we have received your order and started processing it. Please note that the order confirmation is only an acknowledgment that we have received your order and does not mean that we have accepted your offer to purchase the respective items. If we accept your order, you will receive a further email (hereinafter “shipping confirmation”) from us, which will include an invoice and delivery information. Only upon receipt of a shipping confirmation is a final, binding agreement considered to have been concluded between you and BIBS.
5.2. Order cancellation We reserve the right to cancel or reject your order, in whole or in part, including in cases of inventory errors (e.g. sold out or discontinued items), suspected fraudulent use of discount codes or campaigns, rejection of or unauthorized use of means of payment, obvious pricing errors (e.g. errors caused by typing or system malfunction), or other similar commercial, legal, or operational circumstances that result in BIBS being unable to accept or fulfil the order. If we are unable to approve your order, you will be notified as soon as possible after receipt of the order confirmation. If you wish to cancel your order, please contact customer service at care@bibsworld.com as soon as possible after completing your purchase. We will then do our best to accommodate your request. However, we cannot guarantee that the order can be cancelled if your order has already been processed, packed or dispatched. In that case, you are referred to exercise your right of withdrawal (read more under section 8), after delivery has been completed.
5.3. BIBS account When shopping on the Website, you can choose to create a BIBS account or simply make a one-time purchase without creating an account. To create a BIBS account, we need your name and address, and the personal data you provide when creating the account will be collected, stored and processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which you can read here. On your BIBS account, you can find an overview of all orders placed on the Website, any created subscriptions, as well as view and edit the personal data you provided when creating the account. 5.4. Subscription We offer subscriptions on selected products. See which ones on the Website under “Subscription Builder”, and read more about our subscription terms and conditions in our Subscription Policy. You can manage your subscription via your BIBS account or by contacting customer service at care@bibsworld.com.
5.5. Availability and stock status All promotions, offers, gifts and products offered on the Website are subject to availability and our current applicable stock status. We reserve the right, without notice, to change or discontinue promotions and offers, as well as to replace or remove items from the Website, for example in the case of limited stock, sold out items, or other operational or commercial reasons. This includes, for example, situations where specific colors, sizes, or variants of our products are not available.
6. PAYMENT SOLUTIONS
6.1. You can pay for your items in various ways as listed below. Depending on the payment solution you choose, please note that special terms may apply:
Credit or debit card You can currently pay with Visa, UnionPay, MasterCard, Maestro, Discover, Diners, Carte Bancaire, Amex and JCB. When paying by credit or debit card, you will be asked to enter your card number, expiration date and security code.
Gift card If you have a gift card, it can also be used as a payment method by entering the gift card number in the “Discount code or gift card” field. If the gift card does not cover the total purchase amount, it can be combined with another payment method.
Paypal If you have a PayPal account, you can also pay using it. Read more about the terms for using PayPal here.
Klarna We also offer payment options through Klarna. When you choose this payment solution, you will be redirected to Klarna, where you can choose to pay now or later. You can read more about Klarna's Terms & Conditions here.
Others Bancontact, Blik, EPS, iDEAL, MobilePay, Multibanco, Swich, TWINT and GooglePay ApplePay.
6.2. Please note that available payment solutions may vary depending on the market or geographical region where the purchase is made. Not all payment solutions are available in all markets, and we reserve the right to continually adjust the selection of available payment solutions. Payment will be charged to the selected payment method once your order has been dispatched from our warehouse. We also process your payment information securely and in an encrypted manner.
7. DELIVERY
7.1. At checkout, you will be informed of the delivery options available to the delivery address you provide, estimated delivery times and delivery costs for each option. Delivery times vary depending on the chosen delivery destination and carrier. Your order confirmation will contain your relevant delivery details, including a tracking link you can use to follow your package once it has been shipped from our warehouse. 7.2. We currently deliver to the following countries Australia, Austria, Andorra, Belgium, Bulgaria, Canada, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Monaco, Montenegro, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, San Marino, Ukraine, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, United Kingdom, and USA.
7.3. Delayed delivery Although we strive to deliver within the indicated time frame, delivery can take longer due to unforeseen events. If your order does not arrive within the expected delivery time, you may contact customer service at care@bibsworld.com or via the Website here, and we will then try to assist you. If the delivery of your order is delayed by more than 30 days, you have the right to cancel your order.
7.4. Failure to collect an order or delivery not possible If you do not collect your package or if delivery is not possible, your package will be returned to us and we will refund your purchase amount to you. Please note that the original delivery costs will not be refunded, and we reserve the right to charge you for the costs associated with the return shipping.
8. RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL AND RETURNS
8.1. You have the right to withdraw from your purchase or parts thereof within 14 days after receiving your order. You can return an item/package by contacting customer service at care@bibsworld.com or via the Website. The withdrawal period is calculated from the day you or a third party indicated by you is in physical possession of the package or from the time the package has been delivered to your selected delivery location. For hygiene reasons, certain items are excluded from the right of withdrawal if the packaging has been opened. This applies to products relating to baby care, nursing and feeding, including soothers and bottles. When returning an item, you are responsible for and must bear the cost of return shipping.
8.2. Return instructions and address You bear the risk for the goods you have ordered from the time of delivery until we have received them back. We therefore recommend that you obtain a tracking number when returning items, as well as keep your receipt for submitting the parcel to the carrier as documentation that the shipment has been handed over. 8.3. Refunds All refunds are calculated based on the final paid order value after all discounts, promotions, and returns have been deducted. When you return an item, we will refund the purchase amount and any delivery fees paid without undue delay and no later than 14 days after we have received notice of your withdrawal, or when we have received the item or documentation that the item has been shipped. If you have chosen a more expensive delivery method than our cheapest standard delivery, only the delivery costs corresponding to standard delivery will be refunded when exercising the right of withdrawal. Full refunds require that the returned item(s) be returned in the same condition as when received. If there has been a depreciation in value (e.g. because the item has been used or damaged, packaging is not intact, packaging has been opened on items excluded from the right of withdrawal when packaging is broken, or similar), the refund will be reduced by an amount equivalent to the depreciation. Please note we can only refund to the original payment method.
8.4. Returns of items included in promotional offers If you have purchased goods as part of a promotional offer (e.g. 5-for-4 offer) and you choose to return some of the included items, the discount/offer will be canceled. This means the items you choose to keep will be charged at full price, and your refund will be adjusted accordingly. If you want a full refund, all items included in the promotional offer must be returned together.
8.5. Return of orders with a gift included If you return items from an order that included a gift (e.g. where you purchased for a minimum amount and received a gift), and the returned items bring the order value below the minimum amount for gift qualification, the gift must also be returned in order to receive a full refund. If the gift is not returned, the value of the gift will be deducted from your refund.
8.6. Returns of items bought with a gift card Gift cards cannot be refunded or paid out in cash. If you return items purchased with a gift card, the refund will be issued back to the gift card.
8.7. Exchanges We do not offer exchanges. If you want a different item, you need to return the unwanted item(s) and place a new order.
9. WARRANTY RIGHT
9.1. You have a 2-year warranty, which applies if you receive an item that is damaged, defective, faulty or otherwise suffers from a deficiency, or if you have received the wrong item. In such cases, please contact customer service (care@bibsworld.com) or file a claim via the Website within a reasonable time and no later than 2 months after you discovered the defect/fault or if you received the wrong item. Customer service will process your claim as quickly as possible. In order for us to process your claim, you must describe what is wrong with the item in question, provide the order number, and attach photos of the packaging, product, and/or other relevant photo documentation. If the defect/fault is attributable to BIBS, you may choose between an exchange for an identical item or a refund of the purchase amount and delivery costs. BIBS is responsible for covering the costs associated with returning defective or incorrect items. We reserve the right to reject claims on items that are damaged or faulty due to improper use and/or incorrect handling.
10. OTHER CONDITIONS
10.1. Disclaimer in case of errors on the Website We do our best to keep the Website updated and ensure all information is correct, but errors in, for example, prices, offers, availability, descriptions, product information, etc. may occur, and we reserve the right for such errors. We reserve the right to correct such errors as well as to change or update information on the Website without prior notice. 10.2. Force majeure BIBS is not liable for delays or failure to fulfill our obligations under these terms & conditions to the extent caused by events beyond BIBS' reasonable control. This includes, but is not limited to, natural disasters, war, acts of terrorism, pandemics, epidemics, strikes, lockouts, fire, breakdown of infrastructure or IT systems, and governmental restrictions or orders.
10.3. Unique identification number BIBS is registered with Refashion, which is the approved environmental organization for textiles, shoes, and household linen in France. Our unique identification number (IDU – Identifiant Unique) is: FR487662_11MTCF. This number confirms that BIBS complies with the regulations regarding extended producer responsibility (EPR – Extended Producer Responsibility) in France.
10.4. Processing of personal data When you shop on the Website, we process your personal data confidentially and in accordance with the applicable regulations. 10.5. Complaints If you wish to file a complaint about items purchased on the Website, you can do so by contacting our customer service at care@bibsworld.com.
10.6. Governing law and venue Any order placed on the Website and any agreement entered with BIBS pursuant to these terms and conditions is governed by Danish law. Any dispute or claim arising in connection with such an order or agreement, including regarding the existence, validity, or interpretation of the agreement, shall be settled by a competent court in Denmark. If you are a consumer, you can also file a lawsuit with a competent court in the country where you reside.
